Soil Preparation

The better the soil is prepared, the better the lawn will do

  • Remove all grass, weed, rocks & debris from your lawn. 
  • Rototill the soil to a depth of 4-6''.
  • If you have poor soil, bring in 4-6'' of good top soil.
  • For best results, have your soil tested. 
  • Rake in the recommended fertilizer, lime, peat, compost, etc. to a depth of 3-4''.
  • Rake and smooth the soil to remove any debris.
